EVENTS

Katy will be teaching classes in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area,  January 11 through February 15, 2010.

Classroom is located Massaponax, VA (Spotsylvania County, VA)

Creative Writing 1

Designed for beginner writers (grades 2-4) this class will guide understanding of basic story structure, scene and character development and setting. Great for the budding writer who can start a story but isn't sure how to  finish.

Creative Writing 2

This class will help older writers (grades 4-8) hone their descriptive skills. Students will learn about non-verbal communication and how it strengthens character development, showing instead of telling, basic editing skills and more.

Creative Writing 3

This class is for older students (grades 9 and up) who desire to take their writing to the next level. In-depth character and setting development, scene and plotting structure, POV and voice are a few of the subjects we cover.
