My favorite stories were about horses. I devoured all the books I could find:The Black Stallion, Misty of Chincoteague, The Brumby series. Do you see a theme?
Jesus has used horses and story to show me a tiny taste of His love for me.
After
I married, my heart burned with a story about a young girl, and her
horse. This story, called The Palomino, was about rescue, redemption,
unconditional love ... sound familiar?
Is it possible that story is etched deep in the heart of man? The elements of story; Setting, Characters, Problem, conflict, tension, the Black Moment when all seems lost, and then glorious conclusion, is it possible that these elements resonate with us because we all part of the Eternal Story.
